My name is Elizabeth Noble. I am a painter and illustrator living in Omaha, Nebraska. My work investigates subtle details and the influence of simple things and experiences.  Ranging from magnified insects to figurative and layered images, my pieces employ heavy mark making, collage, and the occasional found object.

I received a BA in Biology and Studio Art from St. Olaf College in Northfield Minnesota and continued scientific research at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and Boston Children’s Hospital. I have studied insects, vector borne illness, anatomy, and immunology. These days my curiosity is directed toward the investigation of the seemingly inconsequential aspects of daily life.
